Resample lots of MP3 by command line

I need to resample my various many 100s mp3 (to get rid of some downloading errors).

The problem is, that my mp3 come in different qualities like

1) 44.1 MHz Stereo 256 Kbs
2) 48 MHz Joint Stereo 192 Kbs
3) 44.1 MHz Sterio 128 VBR
etc

I don't want to lose any sound quality, so I don't want to set for all MP3 44.1 Stereo 128, also I don't want to blow my space unnecessary by making low quality mp3 to qihh bitrate.
I want LAME to leave everything as it is, just - resample.

Any advice of how to do it, not using manual work?

Regards,
Rems
