Can anybody suggest wich program I need to rip TS- video (BUP IFO VOB) to my harddrive? I would like to convert it to AVI so that I can edit it with Adobe Premiere.
The video sequences are mine, just that I shot them in S-Video and then had the tapes comercially converted and they did a very poor job with them PLUS now I cannot alter them.
Would Dr.Divx do the job? or anybody can sugest another option?
Thanks

Hi
Use DVD Decrypter to rip a DVD to your hard drive.
Then convert Video_TS with Auto Gordian Knot to AVI.
All freeware tools.

No DAE when I installed this latest version. And scanned my system for spywares/adwares then, found nothing.
But please let me know when any kind of these programs were detected by you.

Hi
I was having the same problem as mjf and have downloaded the software you mention and managed to save my video as an AVI.
But now my Adobe Premier Pro can't play the file when I add it to a sequence. I've tried rendering it, but think I'm doing something very wrong. I'm new to all this.
My footage is over an hour long. Could this be a problem?
Can anybody help?

Hi!
You tried rendering it in GSpot, or ..(?)
And what's the error message exactly?

I used the two packages you recommnded to get the AVI file.
I've been adding it into a sequence and selecting 'Sequence', 'render work area'. The render bar turns green, but I still can't view the picture in the sequence monitor.
I don't get any error messages, it just plays as if the whole thing were blank.

And what codec did you choose for encoding?
What GSpot reports about the file after rendering? I mean: is your system (DirectShow) able to play that avi? Can you play it in WMP, MPC, BSPlayer, etc. ?
