I just got my new computer

I have windows media player 9 installed, but cannot play "The Family Guy Movie" on it.

I get sound, but no picture (except for some sort of swirl)

It's an .avi file.

Is there a good codec pack to update my windows media player so it will run movies?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Ginetti.

I installed the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.

Works fine.

You should try it.

Before installing Codec Packs always set a restorepoint. Just in case....

For finding out whats wrong, you can check out files with `G-Spot`.

Gives you infomation about the file. (Missing codec, broken file etc.)
