Ive looked all over and I can't figure it out. I have windows media player 11(I guess the BETA version) and I got it today beuase I saw sometimes you must reinstall WMP to get the codecs, and I also read that you must reinstall the latest version of DirectX and so I did. I did all I could do and this is my last reort, bothering other people, lol. Here is the link to the file I am trying to play.. http://pointers.audiovideoweb.com/asxfiles...winlive3085.asx

Problems with a link to a asx file. HELP!!!!!!

It's just a pointer or redirector to the actual file (ASF) streaming. It doesn't work for me, but I suspect it is due to proxy/server problem, not due to software player or codec misconfiguration.

so how do i get it to play? or is it the site, becasue there are people that can play it...
