I was trying to Install QuickTime Alternative and got this error "This app failted to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found" I did re downloaded QA got the same error.

This dll is part of Microsoft Runtime Library 7. You could just install that, or download the DLL here; msvcr71.zip.
