okay well i installed the K-lite codec pack full and i just formatted my comp so its more like putting it back on..i had this before along with this little movie (avi file) that i was watching before which played right then...but after i install it now it plays upside down O.o;;; why is it doing this to me??? the rest of the video plays great! its just upsidedown... i tinkered around in the settings and didnt find anything...can anyone help me?
im also having problems with most MPEG files...they keep playing really jerky...but some are playing good as long as you arent in full screen mode..im rather sure all my drivers are in and up to date (nothing shows in the device manager)

Playing upside-dwon usually means it is being decoded with a VFW codec instead of a DirectShow filter.
Use GSpot to check what kind of codec it uses. Also do the MS A/V test render at the bottom.
Enable the internal MPEG decoder of Media Player Classic. Its in Options, Internal Filters.
