when i try to play quicktime audio file(not video) off the komotv.com website the popup player asks me to install the
plugin when I have the player already installed, quicktime full software plays the audio just fine, contacted the komotv.com website staff Kevin Cotlove who says its the quicktime alternative players problem.
"This is an issue with your browser and your software, not the komo site. I have tested the link that you sent and it works fine. As you said, it works with quicktime but not quicktime alternative. I think you've identified the problem as that of the software."

Heres what I did. Went to the site. kliked the radio news picked a file bout Microsofts security, and altho it says a quicktime audio file, it is a Mp3. I dont play audio with my QTAlt, I use WMP10, so I downloded the audio file and opened it with QTAlt. and it played fine. You have v1.73, and MPC 6.4.8.8? maybe you need a re-install. Thats my story an I'm stickin to it.
