New install of K-Lite Codec Pack?

If I have installed a version of K-Lite Codec Pack and then a new update comes out do I and should I uninstall the older one first? Also when you uninstall the K-Lite Codec Pack does it also uninstall every codec that it installed with it?

The update should be installed without uninstalling the pack.

Uninstall removes everything that it installed.
