[size=2][color=#6600CC]Hi- new to forum. My son installed a new DVD/CD drive for me a month ago. He is nowhere to be found, I just tried to use the DVD player and my computer does not recognize it, it only shows as a CD drive. I don't have the install CDs, I tried doing research but can't seem to find what I need.
It is: The LiteOn SHM-160P6S half-height DVD dual drive

Are you sure the model is correct? there is a LiteOn SHW-160P6S model only listed on site:
See LIte-On website support/download section. Search under optical devices... and your model.
