TalkingSoft.com Forums: after installing corel x3 all media files plays slow and with hicups - TalkingSoft.com Forums

So I installed corel x3, after a while decied to play some dvd's and noticed it played like in a slow motion and hicups and like the dvd was bad. Then I tested with all kind of avi, divx etc files and all are behaving the same.
So far I did the following.
unstalled corel x3, upgraded to the newest k-lite, un-installed k-lite, installed k-lite 2.72 (which I had before this thing happened) , un-installed that then, installed divx-, xvid, ac-3.
All without success.

note 1: When I un-installed divx it gave me to errors , one of them mentioned vsfilter.dll.
note 2: whatever happened screwed up the association for the media files, I have now to select with which player I have to play the item (I can fix that tough). But somehow things got dis-associated, and for some reason does not want to be re-associated by a new install of k-lite.
and I don't know which files are needed to do that.

some help will surely be appreciated,

Helping myself here,
re-installed MP10 fixed the problem
of course I installed the latests k-lite right away

which is better k-lite or cccp ?
