I have windows xp and and i didnt noticed that the codac only works for windows 98 but i dont know how to delete it , it doesnt appear in add\remove and when I go to the device manager i see a dll file of it
so i pressed remove it told me that it will make my pc to not work properly so i didnt delete it someone can help? it causes my video game to have black lines on the video

I downloaded midvid jpeg codec and i have a problem..

It makes the following changes on a Win98 system:
You should delete the registry key "mjpcodec.dll = 'MidiVid JPEG Codec'", and you can safely remove the MJPCodec.dll from the directory where you extracted the downloaded archive.
