TalkingSoft.com Forums: MPC DVD playback error - TalkingSoft.com Forums

I have this problem with Media Player Classic: whenever I attempt to play DVD with it, it returns the message "DVD: Copy Protect fail". It plays all other media files (audio and video) without any problems.
The WMP (both 9 and 10) does not play same mentioned DVDs too, gives the message that the disc cannot be played because of the problem with digital copy protection.
VLC plays all these DVDs OK, no problem.
Of cource I d prefer to have one and same player for video on my system (ie MPC) so I d like to solve this problem. VLC is great but too bulky for me and has its share of glitches and bugs out sometimes. And WMP... please dont tell me to ditch MPC for it...
What might be the cause of this?

Sysinfo: P4, RAM 512, DVD\CD R+RW combo Hitachi-LG, Windows XP Home Edition SP2, MPC 6.4.9.0, WMP 10, VLC 0.8.5.
