Hi, ive been having a few problems with Windows media player lately, tried to play a movie with subtitles but when the movie loads up, windows media player crashes as soon as DirectVobSub loads up. Ive tried reinstalling the codecs and such, but havent had any luck. I tried getting FFDDshow to play the file instead, but i now get a black and white image. I then tried to use Gs400 directvobsub software but that made the screen shift all the way down.
When windows media player crashes it either says unkown or Quartz.dll
Anyone ever had this problem before?
currently using Codec pack all in one, XP Home, nvidia 91.47 forceware drivers, (xfx 7900) any more specs needed?
Ill be checking back later
Thanks

The problem could be the nVidia drivers.
Problem was the new forceware drivers 91.31. I uninstalled it and installed an older version (84.21).

Please see http://www.free-codecs.com/guides/How_to_f...40154_error.htm
