MPC corrupt/broken sound with Quicktime .mov files

Hi!

I installed quicktime alternative 1.75 with MPC 6.4.9.0 and I can't play any .MOV files with MPC, because of the jerky/repeating sound bug. It also doesn't work with Quicktime Alternative 1.74, 1.73, 1.72, but it works with 1.67? I am using an Audigy 2ZS sound card.

.MOV files play ok with WMP and BSPlayer.

Any ideas?

Regards, Partizan

I have the same problem and renaming fixes that issue, but then the video and audio are not correctly intertwined. Plus one is unable to see mov files from online sources such as movie trailers from apple.com . Also when QTA is installed in conjunction with iTunes, iTunes plays back all audio in a jerky choppy fashion.

See my thread where I describe the same issue: http://www.click-now.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=3339
