can't play wmv in mpc can't play wmv in mpc

I don't understand why Media Player Classic 6.4.9.0 which I have downloaded both with QuickTime and Real Alternative will not play .wmv files. When I try to play them in MPC it says it can't render the file.

Any help will be appreciated

Install Windows Media Lite.
