Hello, everybody!
I've already installed all codec that I found, but I can't run *.AVI.
Can it be 'cause my PC isn't a "Super PC"?
My PC configurations:
Processor: 633MHz
RAM: 128MB
Video: SiS 630 - 16mb
I'm waiting for an answer! o/

(Sorry my english...)

Hi Blackmoon smile.gif

Ensure you, the problem is not about your PC.
Load the .avi into GSpot to see the file is OK.

Then post here the results: what's the audio & video format/fourcc recognized by GSpot.

Hi, chp! happy.gif
Here a screenshot:

So, my problem isn't about my pc, and yes about codecs?
GSpot is saying that I've 3 compatible codecs. What can be wrong?
Thanks to the atention! happy.gif

Hi Blackmoon.

Do have a dated PC... but should be able to play. The AVI uses DIVX5 video compression with MPEG1, layer3 audio compression. Seems like you have codecs installed. Have you tried rendering it in GSPOT?

Do you have compatible directshow player to play format? Good choices are MPC(media player classic), Zoom player, VLC (VideLan player). For me I install K-lite codec pack which includes MPC. wink.gif

Yes, click to Render in GSpot to see any possible codec incompatibilities.

Anyway, I suggest removing your codec packs already installed.
Based on the info given by GSpot you need the Fraunhofer MPEG Layer-3 Audio Decoder and the DivX 5.2.1 Codec to play this AVI.
Maybe the FFDShow Filter for playback of the most common video formats and AC3Filter 1.01a RC5.

Of course a great player is necessary (which is not Windows Media Player) wink.gif
try Media Player Classic or Zoom Player Standard as Mischcabob wrote as well.

Well, probably different format, codecs.
Check with GSpot then install the required codecs (MPEG-4 decoder).

And Good Luck in the future tongue.gif biggrin.gif
