DirectShow Filters Not Recognized In System

I have downloaded DirectShow Filters 0.9/9.5, but Real Player is not recognizing it; I will click on the "128ogg" link to listen to an audio/radio stream, Real Player will come up to initiate, Real Player will pause to check for updates to accommodate the command, but no updates are found - I have Real Player Harmony 10.5 (updated), I also have WMP; my system is a Dell 4600 with XP home (02') and SP2.

What is going on? Why is OGG not being recognized? I also unloaded DirectShow 0.9/9.5 to load the more current version (0.71...), but the same recognition problem occurred.

Can someone shed some light on this?

Thank You ~ M.

I don't know if Real Player can use DirectShow Filters or not - I am new to OGG technology and DircetShow Filters was a recommended solution to my problem (by admin); I am only trying to enhance on-line audio/video streams to where they don't cut out or drop off - I've been told that OGG can help with this but... there are so many versions of OGG/Codecs; I'm not sure if DirectShow Filters is going to work or not (so far NOT).
