Writing a secure screensaver maker But having trouble with WMV!

Hi,

We are making a screensaver builder that will allow the user to add video files and play them back in order or random etc. We are using Delphi to construct it in.

We are currently using DSPack and it works fine for most files, but not consistently for WMVs.

The reason for writing out own is security. We want to ensure maximum security for the owner of the source files and there doesn't seem to be anything on the market that is secure.

The problem we have is that the WMVs are encoded for WMP v9, but when we play them using the DSPack components, it displays them with keyframe issues.

My guess is that we need to have the right codecs for DirectShow, but I don't know enough about this stuff to understand what is required or where to get them from.

Hoping someone can help me here!

Thanks,
