Pb of audio with mov video MediaPlayerClassic with QT Alternative

Hi,
I had a problem with Quicktime. So I uninstalled it (which was a nightmare by the way, I had to use Windows Install Clean up) and installed QT Alternative 1.76 Lite since I already had Media Player Classic.
In the external Filters option of MPC, I added the filters from QTA.
I tried to play a video taken with a camcorder and got the following message. Then the video plays but with no sound.
Please what can I do?

Media Player Classic could not render some of the pins in the graph, you may not have the needed codecs or filters installed on the system

PS: The suggested applications GSpot, AviCodec and CodecInstaller do not seem to suport .mov

Further to my post, the person who sent me the video told me that she could play it without any problem on Quicktime player. But with the problem I had with it, especially the difficulty to uninstall it, I would like to be able to use another player and not have to re-install quicktime player.
