TalkingSoft.com Forums: Trouble making back-up copy of my pc dvd games - TalkingSoft.com Forums

Hello all. Just wondering whether anyone can steer me in some sort of direction. As an 'older bird' and not too savvy with the world of computers' - I am searching continuosly in order to sort things out for myself - but unfortunately, I find myself STUCK and running in circles - hence this post.
I am trying to make a copy of some of my PC DVD games - i.e. Call of Duty 2, Oblivion etc - and want to know the best freeware copier I should install to do this. I have tried to copy this once on a freeware clone programme and seemed to go through all the 'motions' - but wouldn't play back when I inserted the clone disc. It came up with - insert proper disc etc ... and didn't know whether it meant the original one first maybe?? Look - I don't know - just wandering aimlessly ... but would really appreciate anyones' help and thank you for your time and knowledge .... (something I don't have yet)!!!
