I have downloaded an HDTV_XVID_LOL Avi file and it will not play in any player, In WMP, it says the following error: 'Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.' I ran it through GSPOT but it was 'unable to render' I have the K-Lite Codec pack and tried playing it through Media Player Classic but no joy. This is one of 3 Avi files with the same preblem. Whats going on guys, help me please!!!

It's obviously a pirated copy originating from bit torrent. The filename clearly says hi definition source using XVID video compression so that should give you an idea.
Regardless, we don't condone downloading illegal content anyway if you had bothered reading the rules.
