I've never really had codec trouble b4, just lucky I guess. Anyways i'm having trouble with K-lite and mpc. This is my prefered player and i've use pretty much the same setup up on every comp. However after installing the newest versions on this comp (which hasn't ever had these installed). I'm getting on the video i've tested so far
double side by side screens upside down. For example if the video should look like ! instead I get ii with about 1/3 of it cut of verticaly so i get >> instead of >>>.

I went ahead and installed vlc (my back up player) and everything ran fine.

So far i've tried and .mkv file and a .avi.

I know this doesn't really help much but i'll try and provide more specific info on my comp and what i'm running should that be required. i've tried the k-lite on several cofigs with the same problem.
any ideas or suggestons would be helpful.
