I recently installed the XP Codec Pack. Normally I do not have a problem with this codec pack, but instead of doing the default install I did the full install.
Almost everything work perfectly except for embedded Windows Media Player web content. I get absolutely no sound. I have tried uninstalling the pack, reinstalling WMP10, Upgrading to 11, reinstalling the codec pack with the defaults, and installing a different codec pack all together. I have also tried every combination in between. Any ideas?

NOPE. And...please stop bumping your topic and replying to yourself.
Is it just certain pages with active content? Does it affect all Windows Media files?
Try removing codec packs and doing a repair of WMP 11. (Not wise to install this WMP11 since it is still in beta I believe!) All you require is latest Windows Media codecs included with player installation. Otherwise, you can download Windows media player format runtime if don't want to use WMP 11:
