Hi guys, first time here, hope you guys can give me some suggestions.

everything was smooth and vibrant till last week, the unspeakable happened.

I re-formated my computer and re-installed my windows xp cuz my old hd was indeed, dead.

i installed k-lite 2.77 codex / mpc on my fresh xp os, however the video came out darker then usual, and the colors were bad.

so i uninstalled that and installed cccp , the problem still there. (still using mpc)

then i thought might be the problem of the player, so i tried bs player which didnt make any difference.

then i tried to install k-lite again , uninstall cccp, use bs player, nada.

zoom player nada.

so i installed divx and its player, the picture came out normal (hurray) however if i use any other players the quility went back to dark and color lost.

Right now i have divx and k-lite installed, i also tried the xp code pack but it didnt help, only divx player gives the normal result.

what should i do to fix the problem, divx player is quite bulky and ugly, i would like to use mpc again while enjoy the videos the way they suppose to be.

I have the exact same problem and am seeking a solution too!!!!!!
Hopefully someone knows the fix.
