Finally somewhere that I may get help with Vid' / Aud' / enCODers/DECoderS.

So, I be Snakez, from a little place they call Australia.

Now, where do I go to ask about:
<what app and/or codecs is used to convert VOB to XviD/AC3 - like those TV show episodes that are 350MB file-size> ?
I need one app that will convert and also edit/cut some from the middle of the file/show (not just the start and ending).
