Hi,
There was new version of FFDShow out a while ago, but not the SSE2 version.
Even the SSE version was out much later than the regular version. Why? Based on my understanding, they all are the same except changing some compilation flags during compiling and building. So, why the delay?
Many thanks.

Hi!
FFDShow is under continous development. The latest releases are CVS builds, not stable versions.
See the ffdshow project page for more details:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow/
Also can check a discussion about its development stage here:

According to what you said, it means that the last stable build was in year 2002. wow! That's too out-dated.
so if the 10/2004 is alpha build, then the 2005 one is a beta build? Even if it's a beta build, why didn't you guys make a SSE2 build for the 2005 build? You did make a SSE build though.
But still, thanks for your great job.

Excuse me! How do you mean: "you guys"?
I, personally am not a developer of FFDShow. Free-Codecs.com not developing it too.
That's why i gave you the link to the project page.
These particular complaints should be addressed there.
THX for understanding!
