Media Player Classic and Fullscreen

I am currently running Media Player Classic version 6.4.9.0 and Combinded Community Codec Pack (CCCP) version 2006.7.28 (updated date).

I have a problem with the full screen feature in media player classic. When I play an .avi file in windowed mode, it works perfectly. However, when I switch to fullscreen, it gives me a black screen but I am still able to hear the audio. I have read from different places that it is a codec problem, so I installed K-lite mega codec pack but that did not work either, so I reverted back to CCCP. Can someone help me on this issue?

Thanks,
Dojinacu

Did you try tweaking within MPC? Try changing output renderer to Overlay mixer (by default).
BTW, a similar topic has been started here.

I assume you have latest DIRECT X, display drivers for your computer. cool.gif

Hey, thanks for the help Mischabob. Actually when I checked the output render it was already on Overlay mixer, so I tried System Default and it works now (haha go figure).
