avi video files play upside down

Hi all,

I need some help with my video codecs. My video files that are in avi format play correctly as far as video and sound but the video is upside down. Does anyone know what codec I should use to fix this?

I ran one of them through G-spot and these are the error messages I get.

Failed to create instance of DiVX Decoder Filter, failed to create instance of DiVX Demus, error 0x80040154, Class not registered.
