Hi, I recently installed XP Codec Pack 2.0.6 after reinstall a fresh copy of Windows XP SP2, but it screwed my computer ! wink.gif . I can't play some mp3 files, and can't play any quicktime or real videos anymore, I can only hear sound.

This has never happened before. I used to always install xp codec pack, and it'll work fine. I think it's something to do with WMP11, because before I use WMP10, and it all worked fine. Is there any way to fix this? And also, I quite like WMP11, so I don't want to uninstall it... and I surely don't want to reinstall Windows again.

There is no relationship between XP Codec Pack and Quicktime/Real videos. Did you also install other codec packs?

No, I didn't install any other codecs. I was thinking if it is something to do with WMP11.
