another ace mega pack problem avi codec

Hi folks, I have a question about Ace Mega Codecs Pack version 1.0.0.0. The “AVI CodecPack” shows almost all video codecs as “unknown….no information available” although all codecs are working. Any ideas please?

Well it works so what's the problem? It's collection of hacked/re-engineered, freeware codecs put together as a pack. Likely no meta data or info attached to them so identified in Windows as "Unknown."

Good idea to install individual codecs like FFDSHOW, XVID/DIVX instead of these large codec packs anyway.
