< I have by mistake posted this topic doubly in wrong section >
Hi .. I have an application virtualduB to run and I want to use x264/AVC codec. Now, many codec packs have this and on installing codec pack i can achieve what I want. But my question is that how do I install only x264 and nothing else. I have a .exe downloaded from codecs.com but i tried running it with no luck. Vdub doesnt detect it . it does only when the whole pack is installed ? Please help

For VirtualDub you need a VFW codec. The only VFW H.264 decoder I know is ffdshow.

i dont want to know about decoder .. ~~ !
Is there a H264 only installation system available ?
