A few simple problems with Media Player Classic

Hi guys, I've just got a few small niggles with MPC after changing from a dual CRT setup to a new LCD one.

The first two problems are sort of 'convenience' ones that I'm noticing since I'm running MPC in an overlayed window now instead of on it's own screen:

1) Is there anyway so it will remember the size of the last video or similar? I usually watch TV episodes, so it'd be great if I didn't have to keep resizing it.

2) Is there anyway to have the controls (play, pause, stop, seek bar etc) set to autoshow when you hover in minimal mode like there is in the standard one? Another really small niggle, but it'd be ace if I didn't have to keep switching between minimal and standard and resizing the window after each episode :-)

Finally a question regarding how things look on the LCD compared to the CRT; it's just not as clear, and at times can be quite blocky. I understand this is caused because LCD is a lot better than CRT and shows up a lot of inconsistencies that CRT automatically smooths, if that makes sense, anyway.

3) What are the best settings/filters to use for an LCD monitor? I'm using XP Codec Pack which includes ffdshow if that helps.

Thanks!

Enable the following options in Media Player Classic:
- Remember last window position
- Remember last window size

Ah that's excellent, thanks!

Does anyone have any idea regarding getting the search bar on there to autoshow/autohide and also what the best filters are to use? Thanks!
