CMP is terrific in all areas but one: Whenever I try to File/Save Image, I always get an error back
"CurrentImageSave failed." (I am using W2K if that matters.)

Is there a special setting to use in Options, or is there a codec to install, to make "Save Image" work?

Been covered before... and YES, it works.
Try changing MPC's default output (View...options menu) to DirectX instead of system default.
Pause playback and then SAVE image as...BMP or JPG. wink.gif

It seems like doesnt work for me...
The following is my steps :
I go to Option Menu in View Bar,
I selected Output Category and
i have changed the DirectX 9 in both RealMedia Video and QuickTime Video
Then i changed the DirectShow Video to "VMR9 (renderless)

is there anything i still can do? by the way... im still a freshman of doing this... what is MPC?
