when i play video with windows media player 11, the video just freezes since the first frame forcing me to close it via task manager, i have realized that it only occurs with videos in which the audio is mp3 based, other players like media player classic works, but the real problem comes when i need to use some apps for video and subtitle editing which crash as well with that kind of videos......the only codecs that are mp3 based for video audio that were found on the issued machine are "lame mp3 enc" and some "fraunhofer IIS mp3 codec" tried uninstalling these codecs with no luck.
i would like to know how can i fix it, dont know... any suggesitions rather than reformat or reinstalling OS? thanks.
