Help
I'm a novice at this and I need some advice. All I want to do is convert the TiVO video files, that TiVO has sent to my computer for storage or viewing, to .avi files that I can then edit, using my Pinnacle Studio 10 Plus, and then, using that program write the edited files to a DVD, suitable to play on any DVD player.
Is this a difficult procedure, or are there programs out there that will enable me to accomplish this at a moderate cost. Actually, free would be nice!

I think it's freeware. I haven't tried it yet because I'm posting from my Nintendo DS Wed Browser of all things. let's add some tags: free tivo to avi converter, free tivo to avi converter... Sorry, TVHarmony was discontinued as of last April. eTiVo converts to wmv, would that work?
