playing DivX files to WMP11 clarification please (newbie in codecs)

Hi am a newbie in codecs and I have a file "Dance with me.divx" actually halfway in downloading it. Just want to know if I can play this in Windows Media Player 11 without any problem(s)? I download and installed the K-Lite Codec Pack 3.02 Standard BETA as my codec for WMP11. Thanks in advance.
