OK folks this old man is really confused about doing a DVD Movie. I have a Windows movie on my hard drive and when I burned it onto a DVD to play it back on my home DVD player it doesn't play. I bring the disk back to my computer DVD and it works fine. I burned a few disk with Nero and Cheetah and still no luck. My home DVD players are Ilo and Apex. Is there something I need to do to get these movies to play so I can sit in front of the TV instaed on my computer. ANy help is appreciated and thanks .

Not all DVD players are equal. Computer DVD ROm/players are more forgiving.
If in North America, needs to be standard compliant i.e. 29.97 fps, 720x480, NTSC. Not sure what converter or DVD authoring program you use, but there are pinned topics on CODECS &TOOLS section (guides) to help you.
