Problem getting duration from vob file

Hi,

I installed the AC3 filter from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AC3_Filter.htm ( Version 1.45b ) and the MPV decoder filter from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm ( Version 1.0.0.3 )

This AC3 filter is used for decoding from an application that I'm writing for playing back audio/video. However, when I use the IMediaSeeking::GetDuration function, the value is off by a couple of zeros. The time format is set to TIME_FORMAT_MEDIA_TIME , that returns values in 100 nano second units.

For instance,

The value returned for a file that is 45 seconds long is 4579585.

However, when I installed the Windows Essential Codec pack, I get the correct value, ie., 457958599, which translates to 45 seconds.

Is this a known issue ? Or am I missing something ?

Please let me know if you have any quesitons.
TIA,
0
