Out of the 2 major codec packs: The K-Lite and Vista codec packs - which is better? Which supports more codecs? Which has more conflicts and crashes? Which is faster? Which supports 64bit more? In other words: Which is better?
Settle the argument once and for all.

K-Lite has much better decoding performance for H.264 and MPEG2/DVD video.
K-Lite supports video encoding. VCP does not.
K-Lite contains a huge helpfile. VCP only has limited documentation.
K-Lite has a lot more options to tweak the installation to your own specific needs.
K-Lite contains a very good player (optional). VCP contains no player.
K-Lite is able to detect broken stuff on your computer and remove/fix it.
K-Lite better preserves your settings during a update.

KInda shame you didn't have more complete poll with more codec packs. Been using customized install of K-lite for years so always been my favorite.
