Hi there,

I have an HTPC with vista media center. I have installed klite and all mkv files play very smoothly with core AVC enabled.

When I play movies through media center I also have subtitles played ok

My problem is that for wmv files it seems that ffdshow does not work. I don't get the trasy icon for example. Subtitles are not played either. Actually what I have noticed is that subtitles are played only when I playback the movie with media player classic and not with windows media player (wich I suppose is used by media center)

Is there a way that I can enable ffdshow support for windows media player in order to playback subtitles?

After some tests I have come to the conclusion that vobsub is working for all other video files except for wmv ones.

Any help please?

It is the fault of WMP11. There is no solution for it.

Is there another way of playing these files through media center with subtitles or not?
