JVC HDD *.MOD files suck!!!

I have recently bought a JVC HDD and i have been playing around with the files on my comp all day, i downloaded streamclip to convert the *.MOD files but i still cant use the basic editing software on my computer because its only been read as audio and not video aswell. it plays fine in the media player clasic. can anyone help me

well i fixed my little problem by spending more money on 'Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus' which had alot of input files including the jvc .mod file format which is the one for my camcorder. srteam clip is now uninstalled and deleted as i no longer need windows movie maker and no longer need to convert the files. i still have to work out all the bits and peices with my new program but thats half the fun.

I had one too. I never had any troubles with it, I used Cyberlink.
