How do I watch mounted movies in 60 FPS?

Anyone know why movies recorded in 60 FPS don't wanna play in 60 FPS on my laptop anymore?. I successfully ripped them from the mini dvd-r into iso files. When I mount them they play like regular clips they are not "smooth". However sometimes they play in 60 FPS with Windows Media Center. Can anyone recommend a codec or a media player that can play dvd iso's in their original frame rate? Or whatever tools necessary that can get the job done. Thanks.
