I installed XP Codec Pack version 2.3.4 a few weeks ago. When I used HyperCam (screen capture program), I saw ffdshow video codec was not listed while I was trying to choose an AVI codec for recording.
I had version 2.0.8 installed before (and I removed it before I installed the latest version). In version 2.0.8 and other previous versions, it was listed in AVI codec options of HyperCam.
I tried to change several options to fix it but it did not work. I removed version 2.3.4, installed 2.0.8 back and ffdshow video codec came back into the list.
Do I have any choice to fix it? I would prefer to have the latest version.
