Help
I reformatted my computer and when i was done, my sound did not work. I installed Realtek 97 and it worked, but the sound is muffled. I have tried to AC3 filter codec and another one.. I cannot get it to work! Please someone help me!

If you instaled a wrong driver, installing a codec won't help.
Try this Software can detect the right Sound Chip.
