Help!
Some WMV files which worked fine on a previous XP PRO ( non SP2) installation no longer run right. the video is choppy with frame dropout. Applicable system details are as follows: 1. Graphics card: ATI 9250 PCI 2. OS: Windows XP Home with SP2. 3. Media Player 9. The files with choppy video have a Windows Media Video Professional video codec. All the WMV files were originally downloaded from the internet on the the older XP Pro OS. I switched to XP Home after continuous attempts to upgrade the XP Pro to SP2 failed. ( It was a 1st gen pre SP1 version) I'm pretty handy at solving PC problems but video problems are an area I have little experience with. Anybody ever heard of this sort of problem I'd really appreciate some feedback...................BUFFALOMNGUY

Do they play smoothly in either VLC or MPlayer on the suspect system?
