Hi guys!
I apologize if this is in the wrong place..
I recently downloaded the k-lite codec pack. However it's not working. Whenever i attempt to watch an AVI file, the program comes with the following message:
Media Player Classic could not render some of the pins in the graph, you may not have the needed codecs or filters installed on the system.
Media Type 0:

Video: XVID 656x272 23.98fps 737Kbps

So i checked the FAQ, and indeed there was a section about this. In the FAQ, there was a list of the most common error codes and their reasons but my error code wasn't in it. I get the same error with every AVI file i try to play in media player classic, but i don't have any trouble playing WMA files, or movies i've made myself in Windows movie maker.
Any help og suggestions would be very much appreciated.

That error means the video is Xvid. The pack should be able to play that without problems.
Go to ffdshow video decoder configuration and make sure that Xvid is enabled (set to 'libavcodec') (on the 'codecs' page).
Edit: if you are able to play other Xvid files, then it is very likely that this particular file is a fake or broken
