Hi biruru! smile.gif

Suggest load this AVI into GSpot and render it.
What's the name of the audio codec?

Hey, chp, the name of the audio codec is Ac3, dolby laboratories. It say it is installed. Do I need to tweak something?

Quote from AC3 Filter page:
There is a bug in the AC3 Filter 0.70b (and perhaps later versions) that prevents it from working well with Media Files that contain multiple AC3 Audio Tracks. Installing AC3 Filter 0.7b FIX will solve the problem (this fix doesn't contain all files, install standard version first!)

However, i recommend you to install a newer version: 1.01a RC5 or 1.02a test3

AC3 filter 0.7B does allow you to boost the gain and tweak settings with EQ.

Don't have any probs playing back many DIVX/XVID movies encoded with dolby AC3 5.1/2.1 sound using Zoom Player. Unless there is multiple audio tracks in AVI, but honestly don't come across them much with AVI files.

Yeah, as euromix said smile.gif also i recommend the AC3 Filter 1.01a RC5.
And as Mischcabob said smile.gif you can alter the "volume" in AC3 filter Config. / adjust the "Gain/Master level" in "Main" tab.

Also consider just badly encoded AVI. wink.gif
Does it happen to other files or just this one?

Hi,

if its just one file, try to repair it with "DivFix".
