I downloaded a movie XviD.AR and i get "Some portions of this file will not be played" which turns out is the audio. Is the .AR a type of audio codec or something that I cant play. Any help would be really appreciated.
I use RealPlayer by the way if that helps.

I don't know what the "AR" tag means, but it certainly doesn't apply to the audio. Your file either contains MP3 or AC3 audio. Probably AC3.
The reason why it doesn't play is because you are using RealPlayer. Use a proper player and it will work, provided that you got the required DirectShow filters installed.
