me 2nd post on this forum and again im asking for some help with playing back movies.
I have a .wmv-file that im trying to play with WMP Classic, so I can add subtitles to it.
Unfortunately im experiencing a weird audio problem. It appears that only a few audiochannels are properly decoded. Im using headphones and do not own a 5.1 surround system, however the file im trying to play seems to be meant for that type of audio configuration.
What im hearing during playback of the file is merely the echo'ing of the main sounds of the movie such as background sounds, normal conversations seem to be completely silent.

Using WMP11 there seem to be no problems at all, the audio is just perfect, yet I'd like to find out what's causing these problems on WMP Classic, mostly because I prefer having the subtitles displayed because of my hearing problems.

Hoping someone can lend me a hand.
