MPEG-2 Video encoding sofware???

I am trying to publish a vid I made from Windows movie Maker straight to DVD, when I try it come up with the msg.-

"To use Windows DVD maker, compatible MPEG-2 video encoding software must be installed on your computer."

How can I remedy this? Links would be handy too!!LOL
